The setting is a Dr. Seuss style world. (On a train, on a boat, in a box, here or there, anywhere, ect.)
Sam-I-Am gets the other character to eventually try the green eggs and ham after a lot of convinving. The character does not like Sam-I-Am and does not like green eggs and ham but in the end, he tries the green eggs and ham and becomes friends with Sam-I-Am.
